Miss Alexander will be singing the role of Fünfte Magd in Elektra by Richard Strauss at the Aix en Provence Festival, directed by Patrice Chéreau and conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen.

December 2009

New CD released to celebrate Nikolaus Harnoncourt's 80th birthday. This summer he recorded Gershwin's Porgy and Bess during the Styriarte Festival in Graz with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. Roberta Alexander sings Maria on this CD.
